Creating a sonic story free from an accompanying video allowed me to be as wacky and absurd as I wanted to. I imagined an empty space that magically morphs throughout the piece, encouraging listeners to explore these abstract places that consume my mind.

Storm

Collaborating in groups, we were tasked with creating a soundscape composed entirely of self-recorded sounds. Restricted from using any sound libraries or music, we used a heavy poster to emulate rippling thunder. Rice falling on various surfaces gave us textured raindrops. And soft whispers of wind were added by quitting blowing next to the mic.
